Freelance Market Researcher - Mobile Apps (Focus on Astrology)
We are seeking a dynamic and highly-motivated part-time Market Research Intern with a keen interest in astrology and mobile applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a 4th-year student or recent graduate from an English language program at a top-tier university. The successful candidate should be pursuing or have completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Market Research or a related field.
In this role, you will gain practical experience in the dynamic world of mobile apps. Your tasks will involve conducting detailed market research, benchmarking competing apps, identifying lucrative features, and reviewing apps from a UI/UX perspective. This part-time, remote position will initially last for 1-2 months focusing on astrology apps, but has the potential to expand into other app markets.
While this is a remote position, preference will be given to candidates based in Istanbul.
Note: While the initial focus of this role is on astrology apps, the position has the potential to extend and cover other app markets based on performance and business needs.

What You’ll Do
- 1. Conduct in-depth market research on astrology mobile applications.
2. Benchmark the features, usability, and revenue models of competing apps.
3. Identify and report on the most profitable features and trends in the app market.
4. Use and review various apps to gain insights into user experience, functionality, and UI/UX.
5. Compare and contrast different products in the market.
6. Present your findings in a clear, concise and actionable manner.
Requirements
- 1. Pursuing (4th grade) or completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Market Research, Business Informatics, Digital Media, or a related field.
2. Experience with Excel, SurveyMonkey, and other market research tools
3. Previous experience with using and reviewing mobile apps, especially from a UI/UX perspective.
4. Passion for astrology and interest in mobile app development
5. Ability to think creatively and outside the box
6. Excellent research and analysis skills
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills
8. Based in Istanbul (preferred).
